These branch and stem pruners by Corona Tools are a perfect fit for any hand size. You can dial in your own custom setting to help reduce work and fatigue during repetitive cuts in applications like dead-heading. Select 1 for smaller hands or faster cuts and 8 for larger hands or powerful cuts. The handles feature ComfortGel grips for superior comfort and less hand fatigue. It also has a built-in lock that I always find helpful for storage. I've been using these for a month now, and they are one of my new favorite tools. I absolutely love how the blade is coated in non-stick high carbon steel for enhanced cutting performance.

2. Landscape Design Combinations by Lee Miller

I first became familiar with Lee through her fabulous gardening blog, A Guide To Northeastern Gardening. She frequently shares personal garden tours, landscape design combination ideas and so much more. Lee is a landscape designer, gardener and author. Her new book, Landscape Design Combinations has helped me out tremendously this spring and summer.

Her new book, Landscape Design Combinations has helped me out tremendously this spring and summer. When I wasn't really sure where to begin with a project, this book pointed me in the right direction. The book is filled with gorgeous images of plants to help get your creative juices flowing. I will be posting a full review of this book later this week, so stay tuned!

3. Fiskars Garden Multi-Snip

I've actually purchased multiple pairs of these Garden Multi-Snips by Fiskars. They are just that good. You can snip, slice, saw and cut with this handy and durable tool. If you deal with materials like chicken wire all the time, like me, these are for you!

I've actually purchased multiple pairs of these Garden Multi-Snips by Fiskars. They are just that good. You can snip, slice, saw and cut with this handy and durable tool. If you deal with materials like chicken wire all the time, these are for you! Wire can be such a pain to deal with. You can also snip stems, slice open burlap bags and saw rope. It is the perfect tool for any homesteader or gardener. It features a serrated edge and a fully hardened, precision-ground steel blade. It will definitely stay sharp through heavy use. The Softgrip touchpoints enhance comfort and control. The bonus sheath is included and even has a belt clip! There is also a full lifetime warranty, so they will last forever!

4. Garden Design Magazine Subscription

This is hands down my new favorite gardening magazine! Each issue has 148 pages with no ads. Yes, thats correct. NO ADS! I'm a photographer, so I really appreciate the gorgeous photography featured in Garden Design Magazine.

This is hands down my new favorite gardening magazine! Each issue has 148 pages with no ads. Yes, thats correct. NO ADS! I'm a photographer, so I really appreciate the gorgeous photography featured in Garden Design Magazine. It also features in-depth stories about gardens, and the passionate people who make them. Many of the stories unfold over 8 to 20 pages, so they really get into those details we want to know about as a gardener. You will get a behind-the-scenes look at topics like designing with plants, landscape design, container gardens, kitchen gardens, houseplants and more. I've been relaxing outside on my hammock, daydreaming and getting lost in all of the beautiful pictures!

5. CobraHead Mini Weeder & Cultivator

Everybody needs a CobraHead weeder in their life! I was lucky enough to get my hands on a mini, and now I'm very much attached. The CobraHead Steel Fingernail works with either or both hands.

Everybody needs a CobraHead weeder in their life! I was lucky enough to get my hands on a mini, and now I'm very much attached. The CobraHead Steel Fingernail works with either or both hands. It weeds, cultivates, scalps, edges, digs, furrows, plants, transplants, de-thatches and harvests. The handle is both comfortable and efficient. It is made using a mix of recycled plastic and organic materials. My favorite advantage of this product is it's small size. I can put it in my pocket while I'm walking around! Weeding can be such a hassle, but this tool really does the trick and makes it so much easier. This is a definite must-have. If you are giving one as a gift, make sure to get one for yourself!
