Monthly Musings On The Farm: Update

Monthly Musings On The Farm: Winter Edition | angiethefreckledrose.com

Since starting this blog, I have received numerous opportunities to branch out and try new things.  I was invited to participate in a gardening blog series this summer with some very talented ladies.  I also co-host a weekly blog hop with some of the best home renovators and tablescapers out there.  I've also been running giveaways and reviewing some amazing lawn and garden products that would make any nature lover's heart sing.  I still love my animals and have been enjoying all of the musings on the farm every day.  I just couldn't seem to squeeze it all into my weekly posts and deadlines.  I know some of you follow the animals on the farm, so I wanted to give you a quick recap in photos from June up until now.  I'm happy to be back sharing with you and I hope you all enjoy!

The sun is setting earlier and the days are getting colder.  We may even get snow this weekend!  I'm really hoping that snow doesn't begin to fall until AFTER Thanksgiving passes.  I guess we will just have to see.  How are your pets doing?  The group of wild turkeys that likes to meander through the yard are back in full force.  I'm not sure why, but they are extra adventurous around this time of year.  What kind of wildlife have you been spotting in your own backyard? Tell me all about it in the comment section below or tweet me any pictures you have @thefreckledrose.  Have a wonderful week ahead and have a great Thanksgiving!

What a wonderful collection of pictures and how nice to see some summer ones in there as we start to battle with the first of the frozen ground and water buckets! So did the snow hold out until after Thanksgiving?

Thank you for once again linking up to #AnimalTales, Angie and your pictures are a joy to scan through.

Thank you so much Rosie! Yes it did, thankfully 🙂 I don’t mind snow, but I don’t like when it gets in the way of family plants. I’m always happy to link up and thanks for hosting!

Great pictures! I love photographing wildlife. Lately I’ve been seeing/photographing the winter birds. Mostly House Finches and Cardinals.

Beautiful pictures! Sometimes I wish I had a farm – but I think it can be just as much work as going to “work” at times! Best of luck to you in creating your Thanksgiving spread – I don’t know where you are but we are in Kingston, Ontario, Canada and we just got a giant dump of snow over the last two days. Winter came in with full force! Happy Thanksgiving to you!
