Just A Tad About Honest Tea

As I became passionate about organic gardening, I also became more aware of products that use natural ingredients.  During my research, I began to learn more about Fair Trade USA.  They focus on promoting quality products that protect the environment all while helping farmers in developing countries to fight poverty.  Through Fair Trade, I discovered naturally sweet Honest Tea!  They are not only Fair Trade Certified, but also USDA Organic.  Leaves used to make Honest Tea are hand plucked from tea gardens located in China and India.  They are then sweetened with ingredients like organic cane sugar, honey and agave syrup.  You can check out this source map to see where every ingredient you enjoy comes from.  I was excited to see that cranberry juice concentrate and maple syrup are both harvested close to home here in New England!  Along with their yummy line of teas, they also offer Honest Kids fruit juices, Honest Fizz sodas and Summer Refresher Honest Lemonade!

Cool Down With Honest Lemonade

Beat the heat this summer with Honest Tea's five refreshing varieties of lemonade.  Ginger Lemonade and Mango Lemonade are available exclusively at Whole Foods Market. Watermelon Lemonade, Original Lemonade and Mango Lemonade are all available at Whole Foods Market and other natural food retailers.  Each kind of lemonade has Fair Trade Certified organic cane sugar making it just a tad sweet.  Make Honest Lemonade your main squeeze this summer!

    Sometimes it’s hard to find good lemonade outside of the US. Sometimes lemonade is like lemon soda. Nothing is more refreshing on a hot summer day.

    I haven’t had the pleasure of trying Honest Lemonade. I bet it would be great on it’s own, in an Arnold Palmer or maybe as an “adult” beverage!
