Project 366 Weeks 11 & 12

The 366 Photo Challenge 2016

March was such a gorgeous month full of new growth and great surprises.  We were able to enjoy the first day of spring along with a family filled Easter celebration.  I was sent an amazing deluxe garden gift box from Botanical Interests thanks to the lovely Handy Helen's great giveaway.  I spent some time out in the garden prepping it for the new season.  Inside my hoop house is beginning to burst with growth.  All the animals on the farm are taking advantage of the beautiful weather.  Now I'm ready to see what April has to offer. In the meantime, come take a look at some of the highlights from this month below.

Day 076 | 366 {yum}

A sweet way to end the day. Is it strawberry picking season yet? 🍓

Day 077 | 366 {a habit}

Botanical Interest Prize Box

It's a daily habit to check the mail, and imagine my surprise when I saw this beautiful box waiting at my door! 📦 Thanks so much to the wonderful Handy Helen & Botanical Interests for providing me with this deluxe garden box! I can't wait to get my hands dirty!

Day 078 | 366 {where i stand}

where I stand

Getting as much yard work in as I can today. The winter-like weather is rolling in this weekend. Time to bundle up and spend some time indoors.

Day 079 | 366 {tiny}

Tiny Komatsuma Tendergreen Mustard sprouts under the hoop house today. I had no idea these would take off so quick. Time to thin out these spicy Japanese greens! 🌱

Day 080 | 366 {floral}

Day 083 | 366 {variety}

Variety

My favorite variety of Easter candy 🐰 These aren't going to last very long!

Day 084 | 366 {what motivates me}

What Motivates Me

Nature motivates me everyday to wake up excited to see what's blooming or ready to be harvested. It has gotten me through many sad days, bad days and all around crappy days. It's impossible to have little faith that things won't work out when nature always finds a way. From a tiny seed to a flower. It makes me feel hopeful and reminds me there is always promise in what could be tomorrow.

Day 085 | 366 {happiness}

Happiness

Pure happiness. Just playing in the water, not a care in the world. These waterfowl wanderers sure do love swim time.

Day 086 | 366 {pastel}

Pink Tulips

Pastel tulips acting as a centerpiece for tomorrow🐰 Have a Happy Easter everyone! 💐

Day 087 | 366 {lyrics}

Pygmy Goat

"On top of the world looking down on creation" is where every goat dreams of being 👌

Day 088 | 366 {i adore this}

Less Is More

Day 090 | 366 {a connection}

a connection

I feel such a strong connection to my garden & all the flowers I plant. Here is some muscari beginning to grow. What's growing now in your spring garden?

Day 091 | 366 {a self portrait}

a self portrait

So today I decided to sow some seeds in my containers. This could have been a great idea, but apparently New England isn't quite sure if it's spring yet. We may be expecting snow next week. Oh and it was 70 degrees and gorgeous today! The weather fluctuations can be pretty crazy here. Guess I just have to sit back, wait and see!🌱

    I admire those who can do these projects. I know I wouldn’t be able to keep it up for a year! You have such a variety of subjects but the box of seeds caught my eye. Though it’s autumn in my world, I am already planning my flower garden for next spring!

    I don’t know how it’s possible, given that your photography is beautiful already, but it gets better and better as each week passes!

    So many beautiful captures shared from the past couple of weeks – it’s lovely see all the nature and how spring is blooming locally to you. Budding trees is one of my favourite things about the Spring season so far, that and the arrival of daffodils and daisies – those two flowers signify Spring here in the UK.

    I loved your words regarding nature motivating you!

    Seeing your lovely pictures always makes me smile, thank you for sharing these! I am hoping for better gardening weather here in Indiana, It seems to have reverted to cold and rain these past 2 weeks, so seeing these reminds me that it will pass.

    Have a great week!

      Thank you June! The turtle is actually a charm I purchased in Newport, Rhode Island. I saw it & it happened to be the perfect size for the terrarium 🙂

    What a dreamy post from you Angie Rose! I love my garden too, but in a sub-tropical region, tulips are a bit hard to grow! Thanks for sharing at Five Star Frou-Frou this week. Hope to see you again on Friday! Love, Mimi xxx
