Since starting this blog, I have received numerous opportunities to branch out and try new things. I was invited to participate in a gardening blog series this summer with some very talented ladies. I also co-host a weekly blog hop with some of the best home renovators and tablescapers out there. I've also been running giveaways and reviewing some amazing lawn and garden products that would make any nature lover's heart sing. I still love my animals and have been enjoying all of the musings on the farm every day. I just couldn't seem to squeeze it all into my weekly posts and deadlines. I know some of you follow the animals on the farm, so I wanted to give you a quick recap in photos from June up until now. I'm happy to be back sharing with you and I hope you all enjoy!
Throwback Pic: May 2011
The sun is setting earlier and the days are getting colder. We may even get snow this weekend! I'm really hoping that snow doesn't begin to fall until AFTER Thanksgiving passes. I guess we will just have to see. How are your pets doing? The group of wild turkeys that likes to meander through the yard are back in full force. I'm not sure why, but they are extra adventurous around this time of year. What kind of wildlife have you been spotting in your own backyard? Tell me all about it in the comment section below or tweet me any pictures you have @thefreckledrose. Have a wonderful week ahead and have a great Thanksgiving!

November 20, 2016 at 4:18 pmI love your photos, your farm looks like such a happy place. I am the proud owner of two cats – our long-haired tortoiseshell seemed to spend the whole of summer slowly shedding her winter coat (into the carpet) and then, poof, it was back at the first sign of cold weather. She is suddenly twice the size!

November 20, 2016 at 12:55 amHi Angie, lovely animal photos. The fluffy goose bottom made me smile. Unfortunately, at the moment we have rats in our woodpiles, something I have been chatting to the cat about.
