Now that January is coming to a close, I'm setting my sights on seed shopping. I'm also starting the extensive planning for my vegetable garden renovation in the spring. I'm completely redesigning my raised garden beds and expanding the area. I will also be upgrading my garden fencing that has begun to corrode and fall apart over the years. It takes a great deal of planning and prepping to outsmart those garden critters. If you are a gardener, please feel free to comment or message me with any garden design tips you have!

I'm excited to share with you my review of this stunning new gardening book. It is called The Graphic Vegetable - Food and Art from America’s Soil by Michael B. Emery and Irwin Richman. This book is a visual buffet filled with images of vintage catalogs, lithographs, seed packets, postcards and botanical illustrations. If you enjoy photography, antiques and thrifty finds you will love this book.

The Graphic Vegetable: A Book ReviewDuring the dreary winter months, I begin to really miss being out in my garden. It can be challenging knowing that the long wait until spring is far from being over. I like to curb these feelings with some seed catalogs and good gardening books. A Graphic Vegetable

    Angie,
Thank you for featuring Winter Greenery After Christmas. With this encouragement, I may make through the rest of winter. 🙂 I am honored to be featured.

Just today I was talking about plans to plant ivy outside to climb a wire fence. Of course, there will be photos on the blog when it happens. 🙂

Angie, thank you for co-hosting DIDI. As much as I don’t like winter, it’ll still be another month or so before I start to get antsy about wanting to get back out in my landscape garden in earnest. Right now I’m just dreaming about changes, soon will need to implement. Have a great week.
